About the Role
NIA Recruiting is seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to support an individual within their own home. This is a unique, stable opportunity with a permanent place of work, allowing you to build a consistent and meaningful relationship with the individual you support.
You will play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity, and overall wellbeing while delivering person-centred care tailored to the individual’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care in the individual’s home
- Support with personal care (e.g. washing, dressing, toileting)
- Assist with medication (where required and trained)
- Support with meal preparation and nutrition
- Assist with mobility and safe moving & handling
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns
- Promote independence, choice, and dignity at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care role is desirable but not essential
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Reliability and commitment to a consistent placement
- Right to work in the UK
