About the Pavilion Café
The Pavilion Café in Waterloo Park is a busy commercial café serving park visitors, families and community groups.
We also manage the Sandy‑Winsch Room, a flexible function space used for:
- Community meetings
- Social gatherings
- Commercial events
- Workshops, classes and small celebrations
Every purchase supports the wider work of The Feed.
We’re Recruiting – Casual General Café Assistants & Kitchen Porters
We’re looking for friendly, reliable people to join our ‘bank’ team at the Pavilion Café.
General Café Assistants
Your role includes
- Customer service with a positive, welcoming approach
- Making coffees and drinks (full barista training provided)
- Light kitchen duties such as basic prep, plating and restocking
- Clearing tables, washing up and keeping the café clean
- Supporting the team during busy periods
- Supporting the kitchen team with washing up and cleaning
- Keeping the wash up area organised and safe
- Helping maintain smooth service during busy periods
Hours & Requirements
- Casual part‑time shifts (typically 2–8 hours)
- Must be 18+
- Must be available on an ad‑hoc basis, including weekends
- No evening work
- Ideal for someone who enjoys a fast‑paced environment and being part of a friendly, community‑focused team
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.21 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Norwich NR3 3HX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
