Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and manage customer payments.
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
• Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper food handling and hygiene practices.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Experience in serving customers, handling cash, or preparing food items will be advantageous.
• Basic maths skills are necessary for processing transactions accurately.
• Strong organisational skills combined with excellent time management are essential to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
