Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit two-person delivery crew to join our team. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring excellent customer service throughout each delivery. The successful candidates will work collaboratively to manage deliveries, handle items with care, and maintain a professional attitude at all times. This position offers an engaging environment for individuals who enjoy teamwork and active work (must be physically fit)
Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and deliver goods to designated addresses in a timely manner
- Assist with the organisation and securing of items within the delivery vehicle to prevent damage during transit
- Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, providing courteous service and answering any questions
- Follow delivery schedules and routes accurately, adapting as necessary to unforeseen circumstances
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle at all times
- Complete relevant paperwork or digital documentation related to each delivery
- Report any issues or damages encountered during deliveries promptly to supervisors
- Assemble & disassemble furniture

Skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with customers
- Physically fit with the ability to lift and carry heavy items safely
- Organised with good time management skills to adhere to schedules
- Reliable and punctual, demonstrating a strong work ethic
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independence when required
