Duties

• Assist patients with daily activities such as washing, dressing, and mobility support
• Support the implementation of personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
• Monitor and record patients’ health conditions and report any concerns promptly
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a caring environment
• Assist with medication administration following prescribed guidelines (training provided if necessary)
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Support with light domestic tasks within care settings or patients’ homes as required
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery
• Use IT systems to update patient records accurately and efficiently

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a care home or home care environment is desirable.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic IT literacy for managing electronic records and documentation.
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being.
• Reliable, punctual, organised, and able to follow instructions carefully.
