Critical Cleans Ltd are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our growing team in a flexible hybrid role combining operations support, administration and light business development.

This is not your typical office admin role.

You’ll be involved in helping manage the day-to-day running of the business, supporting client communication, coordinating bookings and schedules, assisting with operational tasks, and helping us grow through outreach and relationship-building.

About The Role

This role is primarily home-based; however, occasional office attendance in Bletchley, Milton Keynes will be required (typically once every 1–2 weeks or where operationally required).

The successful candidate will assist with both operational administration and business development support.

Responsibilities may include:

• Responding to incoming calls, WhatsApp messages and emails
• Monitoring and managing client enquiries
• Managing bookings, schedules and cleaner allocations
• Assisting with quotations, RAMS and compliance documentation
• Assisting with site folders, checklists and operational paperwork
• Supporting communication through Gmail, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
• Following up enquiries and assisting with commercial outreach
• Contacting potential commercial clients, including care settings, councils, estate agents and facilities companies
• Assisting with business growth opportunities and relationship building
• Helping manage day-to-day operational organisation
• Assisting with occasional external tasks such as key collections or client meetings where required

Experience in either administration, customer service, recruitment, sales, operations support or business development would be beneficial.

Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with commercial clients are highly desirable.

Requirements

• Milton Keynes-based
• Own laptop/computer
• Good computer literacy
• Comfortable using email, WhatsApp, social media and online systems
• Flexible availability within business operating hours
• Driving licence preferred

Working Structure

• Approx. 15 hours per week initially
• Usually spread across Wednesday–Friday
• Flexible working structure within business hours
• Some evening catch-up work may occasionally suit the role
• Potential for increased hours as the business grows
• Additional self-employed cleaning or specialist work opportunities may also be available for suitable candidates

Pay & Benefits

• £14–£15 per hour depending on experience + Desirable comission.
• Self-employed subcontractor role
• Performance bonuses/commission available for self-generated commercial contracts (subject to probation period and capped structure)
