Job Summary
We are seeking a Full Time Retail Shop Assistant to work in our well established family run fruit and veg shop.
We are looking for someone who is friendly with excellent English communication skills. Someone who welcomes our customers with a friendly manner and delivers a great shopping experience for each individual customer. Someone who wants to engage with our customers and have an enthusiastic approach.
Duties
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide produce information and recommendations to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities.
- Handle transactions accurately both cash and card payments
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing shop
We offer full time hours four to five days per week but flexibility is important as shifts are scheduled across six days, Monday to Saturday, between 9:00am and 6:00pm. But don’t worry we will do our best to accommodate your availability and work with you on your schedule.
