The Role
This is a hands-on supervisory role supporting the smooth running of the accounts payable function:
• Overseeing invoice processing, reconciliations, and team workflow
• Acting as a key contact for supplier and internal queries
• Supporting payment runs and cash flow planning
• Driving process improvements and maintaining strong controls
Main Duties
You will be responsible for ensuring an efficient and accurate AP process across multiple sites:
• Managing high-volume invoice processing, matching, and reconciliations
• Supervising and supporting AP team members
• Investigating and resolving supplier and site queries
• Assisting with month-end close, accruals, and ledger reviews
• Maintaining supplier data and supporting audits and compliance
The Successful Candidate
• Proven experience within accounts payable, ideally in a multi-site or hospitality environment
• Previous experience managing or supervising an accounts payable team is essential
• Strong understanding of AP processes, reconciliations, and payment cycles
• Confident communicator with the ability to liaise across finance, operations, and suppliers
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
• Experience with finance systems and Excel; hospitality systems knowledge is advantageous
