Full job description
Peter & J Johnstone Ltd is a fishing vessel owner, agent and manager based in Peterhead and Fraserburgh. Our vessels include nephrop, white fish and pelagic vessels.
The position is based in Peterhead, which is Europe’s largest white fish port. The Peterhead auction is currently moving from the traditional shout auction to the E-Auction.
Duties include inspection of fish in preparation for auction, operation of fish sales E-Auction, vessel landing advice and general management of fishing vessels.
Candidates should have strengths in mental arithmetic and IT. A willingness to learn and excellent time keeping is vital. Industry experience would be preferred but is not essential. The candidate must be able to work on their own initiative.
The position has good career prospects for the right candidate.
Pay: £30,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
