Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team. As a Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to an individual in need of care. Your role will involve helping the individual with daily tasks, providing companionship, and ensuring their overall well-being. Shifts:

8am – 6pm

6pm -8am (sleep in)

Duties:

– Implement care plans based on individual needs

– Assist individual with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing

– Provide assistance with mobility and transfers

– Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary

– Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals

– Assist with housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment

– Provide companionship and emotional support to individual

– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

– Assist with looking after our family dog including feeding, walking and cleaning up after them

Qualifications:

– Previous experience not required

– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with the individual, family, and healthcare professionals

– Compassionate and empathetic nature towards individuals in need of care

– Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

– Basic knowledge of first aid procedures is beneficial
