Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
• Engage with guests in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws
• Manage cash register transactions accurately and efficiently
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food safety and alcohol service
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
• Monitor guest behaviour and intervene when necessary to promote responsible drinking

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
• Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Proven time management abilities to ensure prompt service during busy hours
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• A personable attitude with strong communication skills
