An exciting opportunity has arisen within Tarvit Ward Adamson Community Hospital for a Health Care Support Worker to join our team. We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, supportive and hardworking individual with a passion for caring for the older adult focusing on rehabilitation and re-enablement, as well as specialist palliative care.
The successful candidate will provide support to the registered nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high quality care. Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. You will have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills and will be expected to deliver relevant care without direct supervision.You must be committed to delivering person centred care.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, self motivated and a committed individual with a desire to join a progressive, innovative team, possess the ability to communicate well with patients, carers and relatives. Have the ability to carry out assigned tasks, ensuring delivery of high standard safe, effective and person-centred care
Tarvit ward consists of 18 General Rehabilitation/Re-enablement beds and 4 specialist palliative care beds.
There is a rotational shift pattern in operation consisting of day shift and night shift over 7 days per week. The ward currently works a 12.5 hour shift pattern.
