Medical Receptionist Vacancy
Abertawe Medical Partnership
4 Days per week approx 37.5 hours. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at Abertawe Medical Partnership. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of reception duties within a busy GP practice and must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. This is a varied and fast-paced role that requires accuracy, professionalism, and the ability to work under pressure.
Salary: £24,833 pro rata
Benefits: Option to join the NHS Pension Scheme
Working Hours: Between 08:00 and 18:30, Monday to Friday
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience working in a GP surgery or healthcare setting
- Proficiency in healthcare IT systems and general IT skills
- Ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to cover additional hours when required
