Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Children Support Worker to provide compassionate care and support to children in the comfort of their homes and various settings. Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care and emotional support to children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times
• Assist children with daily routines such as dressing, feeding, and personal hygiene
• Support children in participating in educational, recreational, and social activities
• Drive children to appointments, school, or activities as required, maintaining safe driving practices
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to develop and follow personalised care plans
• Maintain clear communication with children, colleagues, and families regarding progress and concerns
• Keep accurate records of daily activities, behaviour, and any incidents in accordance with organisational policies
• Ensure the environment is clean, organised, and conducive to children’s development and comfort

Experience

• Previous experience working with children is highly desirable
• Knowledge of childcare practices and child development principles
• Ability to create engaging activities that promote learning and social interaction
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, families, and team members
• Competence in using IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
• Valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children safely between locations
• A caring attitude combined with patience, flexibility, and organisational skills are essential for success in this role

Pay: From £13.71 per hour
