Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Locum Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team in the Acocks Green , Birmingham area. This role is vital in supporting our pharmacy operations and ensuring excellent patient service. The successful candidate will contribute to our commitment to community health and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and offering medication guidance.
- Assist with medication inventory management.
- Maintain accurate records of dispensed medicines and patient interactions.
- Support the pharmacy team in daily operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Stay updated on pharmaceutical regulations and best practices.
- Qualifications
- Proven pharmacy dispenser experience.
- Level 2 qualification.
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Confident user of Proscript.
