Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and food assembly under supervision
• Support the kitchen team in setting up and packing down of the cafe
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations and utensils
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Help with basic cooking tasks as directed by senior kitchen staff
• Assist in serving food to customers when required
• Ensure all equipment is used safely and correctly, reporting any issues promptly
• Support stock rotation and inventory checks as needed

Requirements

• A keen interest in catering, cooking, or the hospitality industry
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and safety standards
• Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and work efficiently under supervision
• Flexibility to work shifts as required, including Saturdays
