Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated CSCS Groundworker to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with groundworks, site preparation, and general labouring tasks on various construction projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the construction industry whilst contributing to high-quality project delivery. The ideal applicant will be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

• Assisting with site clearance, excavation, and groundwork activities
• Operating basic tools and machinery in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Assisting with the laying of foundations, kerbing, and drainage works
• Ensuring the work area is clean, organised, and safe at all times
• Supporting the team in setting up site equipment and materials
• Following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE at all times
• Reporting any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly

Experience

• Valid CSCS card is essential
• Previous experience in groundworks or general construction labouring is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided for suitable candidates
• Knowledge of health and safety standards within construction environments
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail

Pay: £19.13-£20.00 per hour
