Group Finance Assistant

Location: Harborne, Birmingham B17

Hours: 28-35 hours per week, with possibility of hybrid working

Salary: £27,000 per annum (pro rata)

We are now looking to add a Group Finance Assistant to our Finance team. For the right candidate, it presents an exciting opportunity to learn and develop as a finance professional and work alongside a dedicated and proactive team.

We are looking for someone who can play a leading role in providing the full range of financial support to the Group, including financial planning and analysis, management reporting, payroll and risk management. You will also assist the Group Director of Finance & Resources with the preparation of finance and governance reports.

You should be AAT level 3 qualified or qualified by experience – or equivalent.

Vision Homes Association has been providing support to vulnerable adults for over 30 years, specialising in providing support to people with complex needs. VHA is a charity, registered with the Charity Commission and its care provision is regulated by Care Quality Commission.

New Outlook has been providing services to visually impaired people for over 170 years. Starting out in 1846 as part of the Birmingham Royal Institution for the Blind (BRIB), becoming a standalone housing association in 1997. Since then, New Outlook Housing Association (NOHA) has gone through several changes to become the organisation it is today.
