Sales Account Executive job at Borehamwood Full Time

Technoworld PLC is an established IT hardware provider based in Borehamwood. We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focussed IT sales candidates with a consultative selling approach and a passion for acquiring new customers. Responsibilities include:

• Proactive new business development within the B2B market.
• Relationship building with prospects and clients.
• Cold calling & warm calling customers around their IT landscape, offering new technologies, renewing their current solutions or providing alternative solutions to meet their needs.
• Professionally handling and responding to customer e-mails and calls.
• Delivering outstanding customer service with a strong customer-first approach.
• Face to face meetings with B2B organisations.
• Processing completed customer sales orders onto system.
• Identifying, prospecting, and targeting organisations to develop long-term customer accounts.
• Following up with customers regularly to nurture opportunities and relationships.
• Working closely with Vendors and Distributors to deliver the best possible solutions.
• Achieving individual sales targets while contributing to overall team sales and gross profit goals.
• Creating clear and accurate sales proposals and quotation documents.
• Maintaining strong, ongoing customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Demonstrating a team-player mindset, actively supporting colleagues when required.
• Being highly organised, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and customer accounts are managed effectively.

Required Skills & Attributes:

• Having some basic knowledge of IT hardware is preferable.
• Strong drive and motivation to succeed in a performance-based sales role.
• Confidence and enthusiasm for engaging with customers regularly.
• Ability to consistently deliver high levels of customer experience.
• High-energy, high-output requiring a proactive, results-driven approach.
• Responsible and reliable, with the ability to listen carefully and follow guidelines effectively.
• Excellent organisational skills, including effective use of schedules and calendars to manage tasks.
• Strong prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage tasks based on urgency and importance.
• High attention to detail, ensuring all work is carried out accurately and professionally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure mutually beneficial agreements.

Training & Development:

• You will receive 2 to 3 weeks of structured training at the start of your employment, followed by ongoing on-the-job training as you become established in the role.

Other Requirements:

• Must live within a 45-minute commute of Borehamwood WD6

Salary:

• £27K – £33K basic salary + commission bonus based on meeting sales targets.
• On-Target Earnings (OTE): £60K
• Progression opportunities based on consistently meeting sales targets.

• Full-time. Monday-Friday.
