Assessor – Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) job at Remote Full Time

Job Description

Everest Education is seeking experienced and detail-oriented PoE Assessors to support the marking and quality assurance of the Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) for learners enrolled in the NEBDN Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing (RQF).

This role is ideal for professionals who have strong assessment experience and are passionate about helping trainee dental nurses progress successfully through the qualification.

You will work remotely and manage assessments within agreed timelines, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and full compliance with NEBDN standards.

Responsibilities:

• Mark, assess, and provide constructive feedback on learners’ Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) submissions
• Ensure all assessments meet NEBDN, IQA, and centre-wide quality assurance standards
• Identify areas where learners require improvement and provide clear guidance
• Maintain accurate assessment records in accordance with centre/NEBDN policies
• Communicate effectively with tutors, IQAs, and support teams to maintain learner progress
• Participate in standardisation meetings when required
• Ensure assessments are completed within set deadlines

Requirements:

• CAVA Qualification (Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement)
• Dental Nursing qualification and GDC registration
• Experience supporting or assessing the NEBDN Diploma in Dental Nursing (RQF)
• Strong understanding of PoE structure, reflective practice, clinical skills, and NEBDN evidence requirements
• Excellent written communication and digital literacy
• Ability to assess multiple learners and manage marking timelines
• IQA qualification (desirable but not mandatory)
• Experience working with online learning platforms
