Eco Power Energy (EPE) is a fast-growing Tier 1 EV charging infrastructure and Independent Connection Provider (ICP) contractor. We deliver end-to-end EV charging deployment and grid connection services for major Charge Point Operators (CPOs), local authorities, and infrastructure developers across the UK.

This is a senior operational leadership role at the heart of EPE’s delivery engine. The Senior Delivery Manager is accountable for the safe, on-programme, and commercially sound delivery of multiple concurrent EV charging and ICP works packages — managing project coordinators, supply chain partners, and client relationships, and driving continuous improvement in how we deliver.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Programme & Project Delivery

• Own the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent EV charging and ICP connection projects from mobilisation through to handover and client sign-off.
• Maintain live programme plans, ensuring milestones, critical paths, and client deadlines are actively managed and risks escalated early.
• Coordinate the full delivery workflow including design, Section 50 / streetworks permits, civils, electrical installation, DNO/ICP connection, and commissioning.
• Manage and resolve site-level blockers — permit delays, DNO access issues, RAMS/NRSWA compliance — with minimal escalation.
• Ensure all work packages are delivered within agreed scope, cost, and quality parameters.

Supply Chain & Subcontractor Management

• Act as the primary operational interface with EPE’s civils and ICP delivery partners, managing day-to-day performance and programme coordination.
• Drive subcontractor performance against programme, quality, and commercial targets; conduct regular reviews and hold partners accountable.
• Ensure subcontractor RAMS, insurances, method statements, and competency records are in place before site mobilisation.
• Support supply chain development: onboarding new civils and electrical subcontractors as EPE’s delivery volumes scale.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the day-to-day operational contact for CPO clients — attending client progress calls, providing programme updates, and managing expectations proactively.
• Manage client-facing reporting including programme trackers, issue logs, completion records, and handover documentation.
• Liaise with Local Highway Authorities (LHAs), DNOs, and other statutory stakeholders to obtain permits, manage notices, and resolve utility conflicts.
• Support commercial discussions including variation orders, programme acceleration requests, and dispute resolution.

People Leadership

• Line-manage a team of Project Coordinators, providing day-to-day direction, workload management, and professional development.
• Work closely with the Technical & Complex Estimation Manager and Connections & Standard Estimation Manager to ensure design and commercial inputs are aligned to delivery.
• Champion a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement across the delivery team.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of additional project coordinators and site supervisors as EPE scales towards its 120 connections/sites per month target.

Health, Safety & Quality

• Ensure all works are delivered in full compliance with EPE’s Health & Safety management system, CDM regulations, and client-specific requirements.
• Conduct and review Construction Phase Plans, RAMS, and site-specific risk assessments before each project mobilisation.
• Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and non-conformances; implement corrective actions and lessons learned across the programme.
• Ensure site supervisors and subcontractor teams are briefed, inducted, and competent before commencing works.
• Uphold EPE’s quality assurance standards — including photographic records, snagging processes, and final inspection sign-off.

Commercial & Reporting

• Monitor project cost performance against budget; flag variances and support the Head of Operations with cost control.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in EPE’s project management systems (Zoho Projects, Workwallet, Aurora/Symology).
• Contribute to monthly operational reporting including programme KPIs, delivery throughput, and margin performance.
• Support the preparation and review of NEC4 / contractual notices, early warnings, and compensation events.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

• Demonstrable experience delivering multiple concurrent infrastructure or utilities projects in a senior PM or delivery management role.
• Strong working knowledge of streetworks (NRSWA), Section 50 permits, and coordination with Local Highway Authorities.
• Experience managing civils and/or electrical subcontractors in an outdoor/highway works environment.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
• Solid understanding of CDM regulations, Construction Phase Plans, and site safety management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and permit management systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

• Experience in EV charging infrastructure delivery (LEVI, CPO-led, or local authority programmes).
• Familiarity with ICP/DNO connection processes and grid connection workflows.
• Experience working under NEC3/NEC4 contracts as Supplier or Contractor.
• Knowledge of utility mapping, CAT & Genny survey requirements, and ground investigation processes.
• Experience using Zoho Projects, Workwallet, or Aurora/Symology permit platforms.
• SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely (SMSTS preferred).
• Prince2, APM PMQ, or equivalent project management qualification.

Pay: £51,556.92-£60,000.00 per year
