Duties

• Assist in food preparation and presentation, ensuring high standards of culinary quality.
• Learn and manage different aspects of the kitchen food preparation like grill, burger station, back kitchen management, food preparation, packing etc.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Provide excellent guest services by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and efficient service.
• Utilise basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Manage time effectively to prioritise tasks during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Support colleagues in various roles within the restaurant as needed, fostering a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for the industry is key.
• Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques are advantageous.
• Understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour to enhance guest interactions.
