Overview
We are opening a brand new restaurant, Bombay Canteen, in the heart of King’s Cross and are looking for friendly and experienced Waiters/Waitresses and Bar Staff to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant new opening where excellent customer service and a welcoming attitude are at the heart of everything we do.
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in delivering outstanding guest experiences. Previous experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. Applicants must be 18 or over.
Duties
- Taking orders accurately and serving food and beverages promptly
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintaining a friendly, welcoming attitude at all times
- Checking identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handling cash and card payments accurately
- Keeping dining and bar areas clean, organised, and well-presented
- Setting up tables and clearing after service
- Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
- Working efficiently as part of a team in a busy environment
- Being knowledgeable about menu items, specials, and drinks
