Description
- Manage and grow relationships with department stores and independents to drive sales performance.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products to wholesale clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimise product offerings and promotional strategies.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with wholesale partners to secure favourable terms.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to represent the company and expand the client network.
- Dotted line management of an account executive.
Profile
A successful Wholesale Manager should have:
- Proven experience managing luxury department stores i.e. Harrods, Selfridges and a network of buyers.
- Experience working in premium fashion, preferably menswear.
- A strong understanding of wholesale operations and client relationship management.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret market data and drive strategic decisions.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in sales forecasting and performance monitoring tools.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving challenges.
- Ability to travel nationally for work.
Job Offer
- Annual salary of £65,000.
