Overview
East London based Michelin starred restaurant Cycene is currently recruiting for an experienced Waiter.

Set within a luxury, design-oriented space the role requires an experienced individual with honed attention to detail and confidence working within an intimate, fine dining setting.

Excellent interpersonal communication is essential along with problem solving skills, an aptitude to work well under pressure and the ability to deliver service at the highest standard.

With an emphasis on foraging, preservation techniques and use of the finest British ingredients, an ideal candidate would be passionate about working alongside an evolving, seasonal menu of produce.

Previous experience in a similar role in a fine dining environment is desirable. The role will require the applicant to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays and weekends.

Salary is dependent on experience.

Duties
– Ensuring the highest standards of guest service and satisfaction

– Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables
– Present menus and provide detailed information when requested
– Serve food and beverages in a timely manner
– Handling payments
– Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

– Supporting with managing reservations and seating arrangements
– Handling customer enquiries in a professional manner
– Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
– Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the dining area

Skills
– Proficiency in food safety and food production standards
– Experience working in a fine dining environment desirable
– Excellent hospitality and customer service skills
– Knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation processes
– Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and FOH team
– Capacity to work effectively both in the restaurant area and kitchen environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
