Tyres Recycling Expert job at London Full Time

We’re looking for a Tyres Recycling Expert for our public sector client on a 12-month contract (Inside IR35).

This role is hybrid, with 3 days per week on-site at one of the following locations: Bristol, London, Newcastle or York.

The successful Tyres Recycling Expert will have specialist knowledge of tyre circularity, including material reuse, recycling technologies and market development. You will shape tyre-related policy under the Circular Economy Growth Plan, engage with manufacturers, recyclers and regulators, and bring practical industry insight to help develop workable, evidence-based policy.

You will need proven experience working with the following:

• Tyre circularity, including material reuse, recycling technologies and sustainable tyre lifecycle management
• Producer responsibility and market development within the tyre or related sectors
• Developing policy proposals, sourcing evidence and presenting options to senior decision-makers
• Stakeholder engagement across tyre manufacturers, recyclers and regulators
• Strategic planning within wider circular economy or net zero programmes
