Carefree Getaways Limited is a London-based supported travel service helping individuals with additional needs access safe, structured, and enjoyable holidays.
We are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable individuals to join our growing team as Travel Support Workers / Companions on a flexible hours basis.
This is a unique opportunity to support individuals during holidays, short breaks and travel experiences while promoting independence, confidence, and inclusion.
About the Role
As a Travel Support Worker, you will:
- Support individuals during trips and holidays
- Provide companionship, reassurance, and supervision
- Help individuals engage in activities and experiences
- Promote safety, wellbeing, and independence
- Follow agreed support plans and risk assessments
- Maintain professional communication throughout assignments
Please note:
This role focuses on supported travel and companionship and does not involve personal care at this stage.

- Comfortable supporting individuals with additional needs
- Willing to travel when required
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Good communication skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Flexible availability
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following is beneficial:
- Support work
- Autism support
- Learning disabilities support
- Community support
- Care or wellbeing services
- Customer-facing roles involving empathy and communication
