Trainee Accountant job at Tiverton Full Time

The FW3 Group is looking for a motivated and ambitious Trainee Accountant to join our growing business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in finance while gaining hands-on commercial experience across multiple business sectors.

Unlike a traditional role within an accountancy practice, this position offers exposure to real trading businesses and day-to-day commercial operations. The successful candidate will work across the FW3 Group’s retail, e-commerce, wholesale, and leasing divisions, gaining broad and practical experience in modern business accounting.

Full training and support will be provided, including sponsorship towards completing AAT qualifications, with further progression opportunities potentially available after completion of AAT Level 4.

About the Role

Working alongside the finance team, you will gain experience in a wide range of accounting and business functions, including:

• Purchase and sales ledger management
• Sales and order processing
• Bank reconciliations
• Credit control and supplier payments
• VAT returns and financial reporting
• Assisting with monthly management accounts
• Supporting stock and inventory reporting
• Working with retail and e-commerce financial data
• General finance administration and business support

The role offers valuable exposure to a variety of systems and software, including Sage 200, Xero, Microsoft Excel, and other advanced e-commerce and business management platforms.

• Able to communicate effectively within a team
• Motivated to study towards AAT qualifications

Previous finance or accounting experience is not essential, although it would be beneficial.
