Temporary EAL / ESOL tutor cover needed in Kensington from Monday 15 June to Thursday 16 July.

Earnest Tutors Ltd is looking for an experienced EAL / ESOL tutor for a school-based placement supporting three Year 10 unaccompanied refugee students in foster care.

Lessons are:

Mondays 9am to 11am
One student, paid at £32.40 per hour

Tuesdays 11:30am to 1:30pm
Two students, paid at £36.45 per hour

Students range from pre-A1 to A2. Two are preparing for Functional Skills English exams on 25 June, so experience with EAL, ESOL or Functional Skills would be ideal.

We’re looking for someone warm, reliable, trauma-aware and confident working with vulnerable young people. Enhanced DBS strongly preferred, ideally on the update service. Right to work in the UK and references will be required.

This is temporary cover, but the tutor will be added to the Earnest Tutors books, with potential for further work afterwards.
