Job Responsibility:
- Collaborate with children individually or in small groups to enhance their learning.
- Serve as a positive role model for both students and colleagues.
- Foster positive relationships with children and their families.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members, including specialists.
- Assist the class teacher in resource preparation and activity setup.
- Help prepare a lesson and tidy the classroom afterwards.
- Provide assistance with lesson plans.
- Support children across the curriculum.
- Give extra support to children with special needs.
- Help mark work and report student progress.
- Help look after the children during school trips and activities.
- Look after children that are unwell.
- Attend staff meetings.
Requirements:
- TA Qualified (Level 2 or 3).
- Experience working with young people.
- Class management skills.
- Comfort managing challenging behaviour.
- Able to engage with and motivate children.
