We are seeking a professional and reliable Taxi Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication abilities, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. This role involves navigating local & distant locations, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle at all times.
Requirements
- Already hold a taxi badge with Bridgend County Borough Council or; Willing to apply for one, we will fully support the licencing process to get you onboarded swiftly.
- Full UK drivers licence.
- Aged 24+ with at least 2 years driving experience to comply with our Fleet Motor Insurance.
Duties
- A mixture of Home-to-School transport for school children, local taxis & airport transportation.
- Safely operate a taxi or 8 seater minibus in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies
- Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations, ensuring punctuality and courtesy
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure optimal operation.
- Communicate effectively with passengers to confirm destinations.
- Follow all traffic laws and company procedures to guarantee passenger safety at all times.
Experience
- Experience as a driver with delivery or taxi services is preferred but NOT REQUIRED.
- Familiarity with local routes and GPS navigation systems.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with diverse customers.
Pay: £30,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
