TPF Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively with a successful and growing independent accountancy practice in Central London to recruit a Private Client Tax Assistant.

The Role

As a Private Client Tax Assistant, you will support the delivery of personal tax services to a varied client portfolio. This includes high net worth individuals, company directors, landlords and trusts.

You will work closely with experienced tax professionals, reporting into an Assistant Manager and Manager, gaining broad exposure while developing your technical knowledge and client facing skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of personal tax returns
• Assisting with tax computations and self assessment filings
• Supporting senior team members with advisory work and planning projects
• Liaising with HMRC and responding to client queries
• Maintaining accurate client records and meeting deadlines
• Building strong internal and external relationships

Requirements

Private Client Tax Assistant

• Previous experience in a private client or personal tax role within accountancy practice
• Studying towards ATT, CTA or ACA or keen to begin professional tax qualifications
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with a professional approach
• Interest in developing a long term career in private client tax
• Experience with expatriate tax is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
