Support worker for children and young adults job at London Full Time NEW

Duties:
– Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities or special needs
– Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
– Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
– Provide emotional support and companionship
– Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals – Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, progress, and any services provided. – Teach life skills. e.g. budgeting and financial literacy and cooking.

Requirements: – Valid DBS for children & adults. We can help in providing. – 2 Reference contact details – Proof of Address – Care training certificates
– Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Patience, empathy, and compassion
– Ability to follow instructions and protocols accurately
– Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends if required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift

Work days:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
• Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

• London, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Care: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
