### About Us
Deerwood Sanctuary Residential Care Home is a residential care service dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centred care to our residents in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. We are currently looking for caring, reliable, and motivated Support Workers / Care Assistants to join our growing team.
### Job Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, your duties will include:
– Providing high-quality personal care and emotional support to residents
– Assisting residents with daily living activities including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
– Supporting residents with meals and hydration
– Administering or assisting with medication where trained
– Promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times
– Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
– Supporting residents with social activities and companionship
– Following safeguarding, health & safety, infection control, and care home policies
– Working alongside senior staff and healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care
### Requirements
– Previous care/support work experience is preferred but not essential
– Compassionate, patient, and caring nature
– Good communication and teamwork skills
– Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends if required
– NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable
– Medication training is advantageous
– Right to work in the UK
