We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Shop Fitter / Joiner to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing various structures and components within our workshop and on-site locations. Duties

• Fabricate bespoke joinery and structural components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
• Assemble furniture, fixtures, and fittings in accordance with project specifications
• Install fabricated elements on-site, ensuring precise fitting and alignment
• Handle heavy lifting safely to move materials and components around the workshop or site
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations during fabrication and installation processes

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, or joinery roles
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment used in construction trades
• Knowledge of construction
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
• Strong understanding of health and safety standards within construction environments
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry or joinery are preferred but not essential
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy workshop or on-site setting
