Senior Performance Data Business Analyst – London – Asset Management – Strike IT job at London Full Time

We are supporting a leading global Asset Manager who are seeking a Senior Performance Data Business Analyst to join a major investment data and performance transformation programme.

This role will sit at the intersection of Performance & Attribution, Investment Data, and Business Change , working closely with Front Office, Performance, Risk, Data, and Technology teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing and improving performance data processes, supporting platform transformation initiatives, and helping shape future-state operating models.

The role would suit an experienced Business Analyst with strong knowledge of investment performance, attribution, Aladdin / FactSet environments, and investment data workflows within Asset & Investment Management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead business and data analysis activities across performance and attribution change initiatives.
2. Analyse complex investment data and performance reporting processes, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
3. Gather, document, and validate detailed business and functional requirements.
4. Work closely with stakeholders across Performance, Investment Risk, Technology, Operations, and Data teams.
5. Support transformation programmes involving platforms such as Aladdin, FactSet, performance engines, and cloud-based data environments .
6. Define current-state and target-state operating models, process flows, and data mappings.
7. Conduct data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and exception investigation across performance and benchmark data sets.
8. Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, solution reviews, and UAT activities.
9. Produce high-quality project documentation including BRDs, functional specs, process maps, data lineage documentation, and test scenarios.
10. Support implementation and migration activities across investment performance and reporting platforms.

Requirements

1. Strong experience as a Business Analyst within Asset / Investment Management .
2. Excellent knowledge of investment performance measurement, attribution, benchmark analysis, and investment data .
3. Experience working with platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin, FactSet, B-One, Eagle, or similar performance systems .
4. Strong understanding of investment products across equities, fixed income, multi-asset, and alternatives.
5. Proven experience working on data transformation, migration, or performance reporting change programmes.
6. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage Front Office, Technology, and Operations teams.
7. Experience producing process maps, operating models, requirements documentation, and data flow diagrams.
8. Strong analytical and data skills, including experience with SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, or cloud-based data platforms .
9. Experience supporting testing, validation, and business sign-off activities.
