Duties

• Lead the planning, design, and deployment of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure including servers, networks, virtualization platforms (such as VMware and vSphere), and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Manage system administration tasks across Windows Server, Linux, Oracle, SQL Server databases, and application environments utilizing tools like SCCM, PowerShell, IIS, SharePoint, and Citrix.
• Oversee network security measures by implementing firewalls, VPNs, Cisco routers, SAN storage solutions, and adhering to NIST standards for information security and PCI compliance.
• Drive project management initiatives using tools like Microsoft Project and Jira to ensure timely delivery of IT projects aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices.
• Develop disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies to safeguard critical data and ensure operational resilience.
• Coordinate vendor management activities for hardware/software procurement, licensing (including Microsoft Office suite), and service agreements to optimize costs and performance.
• Support IT governance frameworks by establishing policies for network infrastructure support, cybersecurity protocols, system upgrades, and compliance standards.

Experience

• Proven experience in managing large-scale IT operations with a focus on enterprise infrastructure development and maintenance.
• Extensive knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and Hyper-V; cloud platforms including AWS and Azure; and containerization tools like Docker.
• Strong background in network engineering covering TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN architecture, VLAN configuration, VoIP systems, DHCP/DNS management, and firewall configuration.
• Hands-on expertise with database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, including SQL scripting and performance tuning.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams through Agile methodologies; experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with security standards such as PCI DSS for payment card data protection; adherence to NIST cybersecurity frameworks; implementation of system hardening measures.
• Excellent analysis skills combined with effective communication abilities to translate complex technical concepts into clear strategic initiatives for stakeholders at all levels.
