Description
The role of Senior Legal Counsel will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of commercial matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
- Support the business on Brand, Marketing and Advertising related issues
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Lead on dispute resolution and litigation cases where necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide legal input on strategic projects and initiatives.
- Stay updated on legal developments within the FMCG industry and advise on potential impacts.
Profile
A successful Senior Legal Counsel should have:
- A qualified solicitor status with a strong background in commercial law.
- Proven experience in the consumer sector would be highly beneficial
- Expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
- Knowledge of Brand, Marketing and Advertising law would be highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and make sound legal decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill
