We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join our finance team. Duties

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records using various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded
• Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping
• Prepare and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting activities
• Maintain organised filing systems for all financial documents
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies

Skills

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Senior Bookkeeper within a professional environment
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero is essential
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Experience in managing accounts payable processes is highly desirable
