Cheeswrights is a highly respected legal firm in the City of London, established over 200 years ago. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, reliable, and willing to transfer skills across various areas of the administration within the office.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Working for fee earners to provide administrative support relating to notarial services and other office duties as required.
To prepare notarial certifications for both commercial and individual clients and to assist with the drafting of documents.
To attend to client queries in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm’s standards for client care.
To schedule appointments, maintain fee earners’ diaries and deal with matters arising in liaison with the fee earners.
Deal with HEDD, Companies House and other professional bodies as and when required.
Maintain matter records within Dynamics 365 including raising invoices. Regularly updating system to show live matter status and payment records.
To coordinate legalisation and deliveries via our in-house messenger team.
To assist with the stitching/binding of documents, including photocopying and scanning documents.
To answer and make client telephone calls, take notes/messages and redirect calls when appropriate.
To receive payments made by clients at reception and relay any payments received promptly to accounts.
Post holders are expected to undertake other duties and responsibilities relevant to the nature, level and scope of the post and in accordance with the needs of the firm.
To ensure the confidentiality of all the firm’s and clients’ documentation and information.
Requirements:
Candidates should have at least 2 year’s secretarial/administrative support experience and the permanent right to work in the UK.
Languages are an advantage.
