Sales Cruise Co-ordinator – The Majestic Line (Scotland) Ltd

For over 20 years, The Majestic Line has been hosting Scottish cruising holidays on the beautiful waters off the West Coast. Our four small cruise ships, designed as beautiful floating hotels, access remote and sheltered anchorages that larger boats can’t reach. Our dedicated crews provide the very best in Scottish hospitality.

We’re now looking for a Sales and Cruise Co-Ordinator to join our team in Oban.

You’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, guiding them from their initial enquiry through to their trip and making sure they feel supported at every stage. It’s all about providing a warm, personal service and making sure every guest feels well looked after.

What you’ll be doing

• Answering guest phone calls and emails
• Managing bookings and any amendments
• Assisting guests with planning their trip and transport needs
• Co-ordinate with guests for whole boat charters
• Sending out pre-cruise information packs
• Making pre-cruise courtesy calls
• Handling guest surveys and feedback in a positive and helpful way
• Keeping systems and records accurate and up to date
• Liaising with the operations team and crew to keep everything running smoothly

What we’re looking for

• A genuinely warm, friendly and patient approach
• Someone who enjoys helping people and puts guests at ease
• Strong customer service experience with a real focus on getting things right
• Patience and understanding, especially when dealing with questions or concerns
• Good organisation and attention to detail
• Strong IT skills, including experience using booking systems and CRM systems
• Confidence working with day-to-day admin and payment systems
• Reservations or hospitality experience would be desirable.

The role

This is a permanent, full-time role, based in Oban

Hours of work would be Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00

The Majestic Line has been hosting Scottish cruising holidays on the waters off the West Coast for over 20 years. Most of our cruises depart from Oban, gateway to the Highlands and the Islands of the Outer and Inner Hebrides – sailing in these waters is the best way to explore the islands and the beautiful coastline of Scotland. Our five small cruise ships are beautiful floating hotels and have been designed to access remote and sheltered anchorages that larger boats find inaccessible. Sailing from April to October, we make the most of the longer summer days with opportunities for walking ashore and wildlife spotting or just relaxing onboard.
