Overview

The Three Little Bakers are delighted to announce the opening of our fourth shop this summer in Inverness. Our new shop is in Milton of Leys and to help make this successful, we’re looking for some great people to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to help build the group and be part of an exciting launch.

We have a full-time and part-time roles available.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales: Greet customers, provide advice on products, take orders, and use upselling techniques to increase sales.
• Operating POS System: Handle transactions, including cash and card payments for, in-person and phone orders accurately.
• Display & Merchandising: Maintain, restock, and organize display cases, shelves, and counters, ensuring they are visually appealing.
• Product Preparation & Packaging: Package bakery goods, label items with pricing, and assist with basic preparation like assembling sandwiches, decorating, or finishing products.
• Hygiene & Cleaning: Follow health and safety regulations by cleaning the store front, sweeping, organizing, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
• Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor inventory, rotate stock to ensure freshness, and check expiry dates.

Key Requirements

• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to interact with customers and work as part of a team.
• Efficiency: Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Organization: Highly organized with attention to detail.

Common Tasks

• Cleaning display cases and seating areas.
• Assisting in the back with preparing ingredients.
• Labeling products for traceability
