Job Summary
Rapid Removals & Services is seeking a reliable and professional Removal Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting clients’ belongings safely and efficiently, ensuring a smooth moving process. This role requires excellent driving skills, physical stamina, and strong communication abilities. Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, to transport goods between locations
• Load and unload items with care, including heavy furniture and boxes, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
• Assist with packing, organising, and securing items within the vehicle for transit
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays
• Maintain cleanliness and safety checks of the vehicle before and after each shift
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times
• Collaborate with the team to coordinate schedules and optimise routes for efficiency

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
• Experience working in warehouse environments or handling heavy lifting is advantageous
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items safely
• Good organisational skills to manage schedules and routes effectively
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and customer service
