Office/Yard Operative

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a versatile Office/Yard Operative to join our breakdown and recovery company. As a household name in the industry, we are seeking a hardworking individual to become part of our small welcoming team at our busy vehicle recovery depot nr Upminster, Essex.

This is a self-employed position. We offer guidance for those new to self-employment.

Also, that you MUST be able to pass Police Vetting

Key Responsibilities:

– Office and Computer admin tasks

– Assist with vehicle booking and release processes

– Drive and operate a forklift

Essential Requirements:

– Must be able to Pass Police Vetting

– Good IT skills and competent/comfortable in front of a computer

– Ability to drive a forklift

– Comfortable with physical work including sweeping, cleaning, moving vehicles

– Strong attention to detail with maintenance tasks

– Physical fitness and ability to be on feet throughout the day

– Strong safety awareness

– Excellent communication skills

– Ability to work effectively in a small, friendly team

– 10 Hour Shift

Desirable Skills:

– Forklift operation certification

Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour
