Role Overview
We are seeking a professional, well-presented, and organised Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and external stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day front-of-house operations and delivering an excellent client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and colleagues in a professional manner
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls efficiently
- Manage reception area to ensure it is presentable at all times
- Handle incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and courier services
- Book appointments and manage meeting room diaries
- Support legal teams with basic administrative tasks where required
- Maintain confidentiality at all times in line with GDPR and firm policies
- Update client information and logs accurately where needed
- Provide general administrative support to HR and practice teams
- Ensure a high standard of client care and professionalism at all times
Person Specification
- Previous reception or customer service experience (legal experience desirable but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and telephone manner
- Organised, reliable, and able to multitask
- IT literate (MS Office and email systems)
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy office environment
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
Desirable
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- Familiarity with case management systems
- Understanding of confidentiality and GDPR compliance

Pay: £24,420.00-£25,000.00 per year
