Job Summary
306 Medical Centre are looking for an individual to join our small and friendly team in the role as admin/care co-ordinator. This is a part-time position initially fixed for 1 year as a job share over specific days, initially Wednesday-Friday.
We work together to deliver a high standard of care for our patients and are looking for a team player who will actively participate in promoting the care of our patients and who is able to communicate with the team in an effective and positive manner.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a clinical or administrative role. Someone with an interest in Health and Social Care would be ideal. You should be organised, flexible and a good communicator. You should be motivated and a compassionate individual.
Main duties of the job
- Working alongside the Clinical Lead and Practice Manager to assist in implementing a full range of patient services within the practice.
- Managing your workload as delegated.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for helping people and providing personalised care
- Strong leadership and management skills and the ability to motivate others
- An understanding of the organisations policies and regulations
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and respect for patients
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft office tools such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel, knowledge of Emis would be advantageous
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a time
Working Week
Mon – Fri shifts to be discussed at F2F interview
Training
On the job training with shadowing other staff, will be given access to Blue Stream to complete all mandatory modules, Business Admin Level 3 Apprenticeship with Clinical coding will be delivered by PMA
Pay: From £8.00 per hour
