Purpose of post
- Ensure all children are safeguarded and their welfare and safety is promoted
- Ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children in their care
- Give support to other team members within their immediate room and within the wider nursery
- Work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop.
Responsible to: Nursery Manager
Summary
As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the room, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for young children. Reporting to the Nursery Manager, you will utilize your core skills in childcare and early childhood education to foster developmental growth. Your leadership and management abilities will guide a team of educators, while your strong communication skills will facilitate effective interactions with parents and staff. Qualifications
- Level 3 in Early Years or higher
- Proven experience in early childhood education and childcare settings
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and parents
- Demonstrated leadership and management abilities in a nursery environment
- Relevant certifications in early childhood education preferred
- Ability to communicate in English
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £32,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
