Private Tutor (Part-Time) – Harrow Area and Online

We’re looking for a reliable and professional private tutor to take over a number of existing students based in and around the North Harrow area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants flexible tutoring work with previously established client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 tuition sessions (primarily in-person but some may be online)
• Support students in building confidence and improving academic performance across core subjects Maths, English and sciences up to GCSE
• Tailor sessions to individual learning needs
• Maintain a professional and positive relationship with students and parents

Requirements

• Strong academic background (good GCSEs/A-levels, working towards or have a degree qualification)
• Confident, friendly, patient communication style
• Must be able to drive and have access to own car (sessions are in-person across the local area)
• Based in or near Harrow
• Reliable and well-organised

Desirable Traits

• Previous tutoring experience
• Experience working with secondary school students
• Training can be provided if no experience but strong character match

Details

• Part-time, flexible hours
• Immediate start available
• Competitive hourly rate (from £25-£40 per hour depending on experience)
• Hours are flexible based on yours and the clients availability. Typically after school (4pm-8pm) on weekdays or daytime on weekends (9am-3pm).

Pay: £25.00-£40.00 per hour
