Supply Teacher

• Job Type: Part-time (2 days per week, Monday and Tuesday)
• Duration: Until the end of June

We are seeking a dedicated Supply Teacher to support a Year 1 class for two days a week (Monday and Tuesday) until the end of June. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about contributing to the educational journey of young learners.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and educational lessons to Year 1 students.
• Prepare classroom materials and curriculum content in advance.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Assess and record students’ progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching practices and learning outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching at the primary level, particularly with Year 1.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create an engaging and positive learning environment.
