About the Role
RSR Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in schools across Greenwich.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HLTA who is able to lead lessons, support teachers, and work with students across different abilities in a dynamic school environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Support teaching and learning across different year groups
- Work with small groups and provide targeted interventions
- Assist with lesson planning and classroom preparation
- Maintain a positive and structured learning environment
Person Specification
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Experience working within a school setting
- Confident delivering lessons independently
- Flexible, proactive, and organised approach
Compliance Requirements
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
- Two professional references
